Ingredients

  • 2 cups cranberry juice ruby or unsweetened
  • 1 cup pink grapefruit juice fresh preferred
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur or 1/2 cup orange juice for nonalcoholic
  • 1 cup vodka or light rum optional
  • 2 cups sparkling water or club soda chilled
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup or honey syrup adjust to taste
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Slices of lemon and lime for garnish
  • Fresh berries for garnish
  • Ice cubes or a block of ice

Instructions

  • Chill all liquids and glassware ahead of time to keep the punch bright and cold.
  • Juice the pink grapefruit and lime, removing seeds and strainer pulp.
  • In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine cranberry juice and grapefruit juice.
  • Add orange liqueur or orange juice and stir to blend flavors evenly.
  • Sweeten with simple syrup or honey syrup, tasting and adjusting for desired sweetness.
  • If making an alcoholic punch, add vodka or light rum and stir gently.
  • Add a block of ice or large ice cubes to the bowl to chill without diluting quickly.
  • Pour in chilled sparkling water or club soda just before serving to preserve fizz.
  • Garnish with lemon and lime slices and scatter fresh berries in the punch for visual appeal.
  • Serve in chilled glasses over ice, finishing each glass with a small citrus twist.
